Since our first issue in 1991, a considerable number of Vitaphone shorts have become restorable due to the discovery of discs or, in a few cases, mute nitrate picture elements. For the benefit of our readers (and possible underwriters of restorations), here is our database that we use to keep an inventory of all the information we have on vitaphone disks available. We feel that posting this list will be a good opporunity to solicit further info & corrections. We would like to hear about discs that you may have or know about, even when they may be an apparent duplicate.
